Round Table “New directions in the study of digital transformation in governance”
The International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration organized round table “New directions in the study of digital transformation in governance” in 26 June 2024. The Academic Supervisor of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration, Professor Eran Vigoda-Gadot and the Head of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration, Associate Professor, PhD Evgeny Styrin acted as moderators. The round table brought together 20 experts from Russia, Israel, Brazil and the USA.

International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration continues a series of expert interviews within the framework of the project "Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development" under the leadership of Leading Research Fellow Anna SaninaResearch Fellow Aisylu Atayeva and Research Assistant Violetta Khomyakova interviewed Elena Dolgikh, PhD in Economics and Director General of SGM Agency. She is also the coordinator of the "Sustainable Development of Regions and Cities" project of the National Network of the UN Global Compact and a member of the Expert Council on non-financial reporting and ESG-indices.
Project "Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development": interview with Konstantin Zaretsky
International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration continues a series of expert interviews within the framework of the project "Digital Transformation and Sustainable Development" under the leadership of Leading Research Fellow Anna Sanina. Research Fellow Aisylu Atayeva and Research Assistant Violetta Khomyakova conducted an interview with Konstantin Zaretsky, PhD in Economics, founder of the ESG-World media platform. In the interview, Konstantin Zaretsky answered questions about the role of the state in ensuring sustainable development, potential risks, barriers and opportunities for government agencies in implementing digital technologies in the context of sustainable development, the necessary competencies and skills for effective implementation and use of digital tools in sustainable development.
New Technologies in Urban Management: From Artificial Intelligence to Multiverse
On April 19, a joint session of the Russian Cluster Observatory and the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration was held as part of the International Scientific Symposium “Foresight and Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy.” The session, titled “New Technologies in Urban Management: From Artificial Intelligence to Multiverse,” brought together experts and scientists from around the world to discuss advanced approaches to urban space management.
International conference Internet and Modern Society IMS-2023
In the conference employees of the International Laboratory of Digital Transformation in Public Administration of the Higher School of Economics E.M. Styrin, A.G. Sanina, Ya.A. Rybushkina took part with a report. Also, E.M. Styrin held the international part of the seminar "E-Governance 2023". At the event, issues of algorithmic management, citizens' readiness to use digital services, electronic participation, and therole of social networks in digital public administration were discussed.
The human-centric barriers of digital transformations and its local responses in the contemporary Russian society
The International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration examines the human-centric barriers of digital transformation in local communities in the Arctic and North-Western areas of the Russian Federation. Leading Research Fellow Anna Sanina and Research Fellow Pavel Suvorkov are reporting the actual updates about the fieldworks carried out on the Taimyr Peninsula, Krasnoyarsk Krai.
HSE University Hosts ‘Public Sector Development and Data-driven Government’ Conference
How can the metaverse help to improve public administration? Can gamification change attitudes to data? And how can governments create ethical data policies? On June 29–30 2022, the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration held an online conference dedicated to these questions and more.
