Students on the HSE’s Legal Informatics MA Programme Gain Double Degree Option
The Higher School of Economics has signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Nottingham (Great Britain). Now students on the HSE MA Programme in Legal Informatics will be able to receive an LLM (Master of Laws) degree as part of this double-degree programme.
Students on the HSE MA Programme in Legal Informatics will be able to apply for this one-year Master of Laws programme from the University of Nottingham upon successfully completing the first year of studies at HSE. Applicants have to meet the following requirements: a GPA during their first year of 8 points or higher and an English-language proficiency certificate received within the last two years.
The double degree programme will be open to students enrolled in the Faculty of Law MA programme from 2016.
The agreement has been reached thanks to cooperation between the School of Law of the University of Nottingham and the International Laboratory for Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law at the HSE Faculty of Law.
The University of Nottingham was founded in 1881. Today, it offers a wide range of undergraduate and post-graduate studies options. Just like HSE, the University of Nottingham prizes both its research activities and its international cooperation: it supervises research centers in various fields, and cooperates with universities across the globe. In 2016, the University of Nottingham took 41st place in the QS World University Rankings by Subject in Law.
